Ten master sand sculptors will be returning to Navarre Beach next weekend to dig in to the third annual Navarre Beach Sand Sculpting Festival.
The event also will be the inaugural Soft Pack National Championship for the celebrity sculptors. Sculptors will compete against each other to craft the best sand sculpture using Navarre Beach’s soft, white sand.
“We are excited to welcome these sand masters for the third year,” said Kate Wilkes, Executive Director of the Santa Rosa County Tourism Development Council, in a press release. “Our soft, sugar white sand provides a unique challenge for the sculptors and I am looking forward to watching them dig in.”
The Festival will begin Sept. 28 on the beach and will continue throughout the weekend. The amateur sculpting contest will take place Sept. 30. For more information, visit http://www.navarresandsculpting.com.
