Seven Loggerhead sea turtles trapped by 119 unfertilized eggs were rescued Friday evening by members of the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Patrol.
Part of the patrols ongoing duties during the peak months of turtle season is to listen for activity on the nests. This is done by lying down on a towel and being very still and listening for scratching sounds.
