Turtles to be rehabbed at Navarre Beach

 

The turtle lady is working on getting a rehabilitation facility on Navarre Beach for loggerhead turtles.

Cathy Holmes, the projector director of the Navarre Beach sea turtle conservation center, (AKA ‘Turtle Lady’) is working with Jim Melvin, District 4 county commissioner, to allow the old entrance building at the Navarre Beach County Park entrance to become a rehabilitation facility.

 

“Mr. Melvin is looking at the visitor information center as a rehabilitation facility for loggerhead turtles,” said Holmes.
