Treating more than just water

Being in charge of the waste water system on Navarre Beach can be a stinky job, but for Terry Wallace, Santa Rosa County utility supervisor, it’s one he enjoys doing.

As the utility manger of the water and sewer department on Navarre Beach, Wallace manages 23 employees and his main job is the continued efficient operation of the water and sewage plant located behind the office and just off the sound. The water and sewage treatment plant processes on average 350,000 gallons of water a day.
