Kemp's ridley returned to the Gulf

On June 30, staff members from the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park in Fort Walton Beach released a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle back into the wild after the turtle was inadvertently hooked by a fisherman.

“We are grateful the fisherman chose to give this turtle the best possible chance of a full recovery,” said Rachael Cain, the Gulfarium’s stranded turtle coordinator.
