Beach fully staffed with guards

Navarre Beach lifeguards

With four new hires in June, Santa Rosa County has a full compliment of lifeguards on Navarre Beach.

“The beach has had larger crowds this year so we hired one more guard this year. The last one brought the total to 13,” said Beach Supervisor Terry Wallace.

The county recently hired two replacement guards when Ryan Johnson left for flight school and Ryan Oberhausen left to attend dental school in Kentucky.
