360 Observation Wheel on Pensacola Beach

The world’s first 360-degree observation wheel located on a barrier island was opened to the public July 3 on Pensacola Beach.

The observation wheel is the second of its kind in the U.S. and the first on the Gulf Coast. Tickets cost $13.95 for adults (12+) and $5 for children 3-11. Military and seniors cost $12.55. If you want a very special ride in a VIP gondola, it will cost you $50. This includes a double ‘flight,’ VIP lanyard and T-shirt. The VIP gondola features leather bucket seats and a glass floor. The ‘flight’ lasts for 10-12 minutes and riders can see 17 miles in every direction.
