County mulls beach restoration finance options

Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners has asked staff to come up with several options for financing the next renourishment project for Navarre Beach.
County Engineer Roger Blaylock told commissioners during an April 26 meeting that the next beach restoration should be done in 2013 or 2014 and would cost an estimated $9 million.
“The board has to determine if we will do it and how we will pay or it,” Blaylock said.
