Visitors full of praise for new county park

Officials cut the ribbon on the new Navarre Beach park Oct. 10, and the cooler weather last weekend brought plenty of visitors to check out the site.

Navarre resident Ellen Greaves visited the new park with her son, Nicholas.

“This is my first time in the park,”  Greaves said.  “It is absolutely gorgeous here. They did a really good job on the facilities.”

Greaves said she and her son visited both the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Sound areas of the park.
