Perfect weather lured the crowds out to Navarre Beach for the annual Fall Festival of the Arts, organized by the Greater Navarre Beach Arts Association.
But most visitors kept their wallets closed, with several vendors reporting that sales were down this year.
“Business was a little slow,” said potter Greg Combs from Mary Esther. “During this economy, people are just not spending like they would have done a year ago.”
Navarre artist Dennis Boyce said he had to lower prices to make some sales.
