Property managers get CERT-ification

After a major storm passes, Navarre Beach home and condo owners start making phone calls to their property management companies to try and assess the damage.

But since only emergency personnel and volunteers are allowed on areas like Navarre Beach immediately following a storm, it can sometimes take days to find out information.

One local property management company has found a way to get to the front lines immediately following a hurricane, though: by becoming Citizen Emergency Response Team members.
