What happens across the bridge does effect residents and leaseholders on the beach.
That idea was expressed during a recent meeting of the Navarre Beach Leaseholders and Residents Association regarding the implementation or desertion of the Navarre Town Center Plan.
Phil Babiak, co-owner/broker of Century 21 Island View Realty, gave a brief overview of the recent town hall meeting held about the Town Center plan, and told NBLRA members that the Santa Rosa County commissioners would soon have to deal with the issue, one way or another.
“The idea has merit, it has languished in the downturn in the economy and there’s a movement afoot to scrap it entirely, by some,” Babiak said during the June 18 meeting. Many at the town hall meeting took the opportunity to let the commission know how they felt about the plan, expressing what Babiak described as “many different perspectives.
