Preventing beach erosion today and tomorrow

These photos show Navarre Beach before the re-nourishment and after the project was completed in 2006.Michael Walther, president of Coastal Technology Corporation, spoke about the state of the beach at the Navarre Beach Leaseholders and Residents Association meeting April 16.

“Based on the standards of practice and evaluating, the project is performing better than expected, as we can account for all that sand,” said Walther.
