They call themselves 'Parrot Heads'

The Pensacola and Emerald Coast Parrot Head clubs joined forces last weekend for a rockin’ two-day event that raised about $8,000 for The ZOO Northwest Florida.

10_2_phunfest_text.jpg“This event has exceeded my wildest dreams,” said PHun Fest event coordinator Jerry Foster.  “Best of all, everyone had a good time while raising these funds.”

Foster said crowds filled the deck at Cocodrie’s until past 10 p.m., enjoying the sounds of Steve Hall and the Pensacola Steel Band.
