In December of last year, Gulf Breeze resident Kevin Cook opened Coastal Paddle Company, the only shop in the area dedicated to stand up paddle boarding, or SUP as the sport is known to fans.
The Coastal Paddle Company is also the only authorized YOLO dealer in the area.
When Cook and his family vacationed in Navarre a few years ago, they were so intrigued with the area that they decided to move down here.
“We loved it so much, that’s how we wound up down here,” said Cook. “It’s beautiful down here, and we have beautiful waters.”
