At a ceremony celebrating the reopening of the road between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach, visitors and residents all noticed one thing: the debris.
Laurie Gallup of Navarre Properties asked Gulf Islands National Seashore supervisor Jerry Eubanks about the asphalt chunks strewn across the otherwise snow-white sand.
