Bigger, better pier coming to Navarre Beach

A new, improved Navarre Beach fishing pier should open by Summer 2010.

3_19_pier_text.jpgThe Santa Rosa County Commission on March 12 awarded Ed Waters and Sons Contracting Co. Inc. of St. Augustine the project for $6.85 million.
“This is a big deal,”  said Commission Chairman Don Salter.  “We have been working on this for what seems half of our lives.”
