Azaleas bloom and lifeguards return to Navarre Beach

Seven of last year's eight lifeguards are returning this year to Navarre Beach.

3_12_tower_text.jpg"The only one that did not return is Bryan Hamlin, who is enrolled in law school,"  said lead guard Carson Jones. This weekend Chris Canales, Jessie Ton, Larkin Dooley and Jones were on the beach as spring break officially started. Jones said he expects Andy Riera and J. J. Johnston to return soon and Summer Schuler to return at the end of his school semester.
