The Sailor's Grill gift shop was a favorite spot for artists to display their paintings, photographs and pottery last summer. The building was portable and located next to the popular eatery on Navarre Causeway.
"We originally set up the gift shop as an experiment," said Sailor's Grill owner Cheryl Chant. "The permit was only for six months. We moved it before the six months expired because of damage concerns from hurricanes Gustav and Ike. At this time we are not planning to bring it back. That may change in the future."
