Local woman inspired by Obama inauguration

Marcia Allen’s eyes widened and her face lit up as she recalled her recent trip to Washington, D.C., to see President Barack Obama inaugurated.

1_29_marciaallen_text.jpg“It was an honor just to go and see history being made,”  Allen said of witnessing Obama’s official swearing in as the 44th President of the United States.  “It was an honor and a blessing that I could go. I felt so proud and it made my heart sing.”
