Pullum Park purchase postponed

The Santa Rosa County Commission on Jan. 8 postponed deciding whether to spend about $2.5 million for 45 acres in Pullum Commerce Park.

“I don’t feel like we could or should make any decisions on this until we have the opportunity for (TEAM Santa Rosa Economic Development Council staff) to bring us a more universal view of economic development in Santa Rosa County,”  Commissioner Gordon Goodin said, adding that commissioners  “have more information we need to discuss” about the deal. Goodin said the absence of Commissioner Lane Lynchard, who was attending required training in Tallahassee, was another reason to postpone the decision.
