TDC committee discusses Milton fire

The fire in downtown Milton dominated discussion at the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council North End Committee’s meeting Jan. 8.

On Jan. 6, a fire swept through five downtown buildings, including the historic Imogene Theatre. One of the buildings was razed and the others sustained varying degrees of structural damage. Officials said the theater, built in 1912 after another devastating fire, could be salvaged.
