Lifeguard Ambulance offers patients transportation

Lifeguard Ambulance Service, the emergency medical services provider in Santa Rosa County, will offer complimentary ambulance transportation on a space-available basis to local residents who would otherwise be unable to be home for Christmas.

The “Home for Christmas” program will provide transportation from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day only. The program is designed to allow patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities that would otherwise be separated from their families because of limited specialized transportation, to be home for Christmas dinner. All requests for transportation must be received by Dec. 22.
