Social media position on hold

Santa Rosa County Commissioners did not act on the Tourist Development Council’s recommendation to hire Denise Haywald, Navarre resident, for the community relations/social media coordinator during the March 14 commission meeting.

Commission meetings are usually held twice a month. The first meeting, usually held on a Monday, allows the commissioners to discuss the issues placed on the agenda. The Thursday meeting following the Monday meeting is when the commissioners vote on the issues.
