NYSA board hires lawyer

The Navarre Youth Sports Association board of directors has hired David B. Pleat, a lawyer with Pleat & Perry, P.A. in Destin, to represent the organization for undisclosed reasons.

“Please be advised that I represent the Navarre Youth Sports Association, Inc. I understand you have made a series of inquiries of the Board members of NYSA in the past. In the future, if you have any reason to contact NYSA, please direct any communication to my attention,” Pleat wrote to Navarre Press in a Jan. 24 letter sent via email.

Pleat’s attorney fee is $350 an hour but depending on who works a specific file, the fees can range from $50 to $350.
