Road trips can be hard. There’s traffic, the possibility of a break down and the all but inevitable misfortune of getting lost. It’s even harder in a foreign country.

On a recent trip to Israel, Navarre residents Mark and Janet Pokroy spent 12 days crisscrossing the Middle Eastern nation in a rental car. While most visitors to the Holy Land usually opt for an all-inclusive tour, Mark and Janet bucked the trend by striking out on their own.
