Only seven food establishments in Navarre passed their annual food inspection with zero violations in 2012.
Food establishments undergo annual health inspections performed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Division of Hotels and Restaurants. While some Navarre restaurants escape the inspection with only a few violations, others did not fare so well.
The inspector looks for a series of critical and non-critical violations and determines whether the restaurant can remain open for business. Restaurants in Florida are not given a number grade or rating because conditions change so rapidly.
