TDC approves $200,000 for arena

Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council approved spending $200,000 to help fund phase one of the Agriplex project in East Milton.

Phase one includes a 250-foot covered arena to accommodate a number of agriculture and other outdoor events at the East Milton Park.

District 2 Commission Chairman Bob Cole has been a supporter of the project and told TDC members during a Dec. 19 meeting that he had been setting aside District 2 recreation funds for 10 years to fund the project.
