Santa Rosa County Commissioners honored outgoing County Clerk Mary Johnson’s service during a Dec. 13 meeting by declaring it Mary Johnson Day.
Commissioner Bob Cole read a proclamation congratulating Johnson, a fourth generation resident of Santa Rosa County, for her 50 years of service in the county clerk’s office. Johnson began her career with the county when she was still a student at Milton High School.
