Elks throw Christmas bash

The Holley-Navarre Elks Lodge 2787 hosted a Christmas party on Dec. 16 for more than 40 children, many of whom participate in the Florida Elks Children’s Therapy Services.

Participating children, from infants to teenagers, enjoyed a time of face painting, a turkey shoot, and a coloring contest, among other activities. Good eats filled the children’s bellies as pizza, cupcakes, candy and other treats were provided. Santa Claus appeared to an eruption of laughter from the children. One by one, children sat on Santa’s lap and were given gifts.
