Gandy continues military consulting contract

Santa Rosa County Commissioners chose to continue a military consulting contract with Pete Gandy, a retired Air Force colonel, after hearing two proposals.
Commissioner Bob Cole was the only commissioner who wanted to give the contract to Ferd Salomon, a retired Navy captain. Both presenters are former TEAM Santa Rosa Economic Development Council board members.
Gandy has held the contract for the last four years. The funding for the position has been provided through a $40,000 grant.
