Jacob Provo, 18, and Joshua Anderson, 19, both of Gulf Breeze, were arrested Nov. 19 for killing a man’s pet turkey with the intent of eating it for Thanksgiving dinner.
An officer was dispatched to Ocean Breeze Lane in Gulf Breeze on Nov. 19 in reference to a theft complaint. The officer spoke with two witnesses. According to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s incident report, the male complainant said he was outside feeding his animals at 6:35 a.m. when he noticed his eastern wild turkey named “Tom” was missing.
