Santa Rosa County has to be better at attracting outside dollars into the community, according to Shannon Ogletree, Office of Economic Development interim director.
“A primary job is a job that produces goods or services for customers that are predominately outside the community,” said Ogletree when addressing the county commissioners during a Nov. 8 special economic workshop meeting.
Primary jobs bring dollars into the county from outside the county instead of recycling dollars within a community.
