Shooting for Turkeys

The Sons of the American Legion is hosting a turkey shoot at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the American Legion located at 1850 Luneta Street.

The turkey shoot is open to boys of all ages. Participants will be given an air rifle or BB gun to take aim at the target. Safety gear will also be provided and a qualified safety instructor will be present. Attendees will take aim at a target with the highest scoring shooter receiving a prize. Personal guns are not permitted.

All participating boys are guaranteed a frozen turkey to take home for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The entry fee is $3 for children and $5 for adults.
