New ‘treads’ needed for

Mediacom Communications, a national cable television company, is helping area students find ‘Shoes That Fit.’

Similar to an Angel Tree or the Giving Tree commonly seen during the Christmas season, Shoes that Fit is a community outreach program that outfits area children with proper sneakers and shoes.
Posted on bulletin boards at local business sponsors such as the Eglin Federal Credit Union, Wal-Mart and the Santa Rosa Medical Center Auxiliary, are donor cards. Listed on the cards are the shoe type and size, each personally requested by a child.
