Amendment to prevent federal health provision

The Florida Constitution allows for changes to be made through the amendment process. On Nov. 6, voters will be asked to vote on 11 proposed constitutional amendments. The proposed Amendment One is titled Health Care Services.

The proposed amendment, if passed, would prevent penalties for not purchasing health-care coverage in order to comply with federal-health care reforms.
