As Hurricane Isaac blew into Navarre on Aug. 28, most residents chose to take shelter inside, waiting out the wind and rain. For local photographers, however, the chance to photograph nature gone wild proved too much to resist.

Nichole Bowers and Carina Potts were just two of the photographers who went out to capture the majesty of Hurricane Isaac. Both are professional photographers with a passion for nature shots, and both took the opportunity to head out to Navarre Beach.
