Disaster center in Navarre closes Thursday

 

The additional Disaster Loan Outreach Center opened by the Small Business Association opened an in Santa Rosa County will close at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.

The center is located at the Navarre Visitor Information Center and opened Aug. 24 to help those affected by the severe storms and flooding that occurred on June 9-11 during Tropical Storm Debby. The center will be open until 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. tomorrow.

Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

Individuals and businesses unable to visit one of the Centers may obtain information and loan applications by calling the SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Loan applications can also be downloaded from the SBA’s website at www.sba.gov.  Completed applications should be returned to the Centers or mailed to: U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76155.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Oct. 22, 2012. The deadline to return economic injury applications is May 21, 2013.
