Before continuing, take a moment to go look behind a door in your house. Is there a hole in the wall where the door knob has left its mark?

Ever get frustrated at the door stop screwed in at the base of the wall that is supposed to prevent that from happening? Or maybe there’s a door stop mounted to the top of the door, but it too has left a dent in the door.

Brian Burda of Navarre had a house on the Sound with an exterior out-swinging door. One day when he opened the door, it hit the brick and cracked the glass in the door.
