Four candidates are vying for the District 1 Santa Rosa County Commissioner’s seat. Incumbent Jim Williamson will face off against Mark Cotton, Thomas Stewart and Woodrow Miller.
For those candidates that have the means, funding a campaign at the local level is not difficult.
Williamson acknowledged that his campaign is primarily self-funded.
“I have had a few people give a few contributions, but I don’t ask because I don’t want to owe anybody anything,” Williamson said.
