Navarre woman arrested for felony assault, child abuse

Lorie Ann Velazquez of Navarre was apprehended in Milton on June 18 for three counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, one misdemeanor charge of battery with domestic violence and two counts of felony cruelty toward a child with infliction of physical or mental injury.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Velazquez’s arrest on the night of May 24, when one of the two victims involved placed a call to 911 requesting assistance for a domestic dispute.
