Catherine Elizabeth Bonifay Eubank - Viewing

Catherine Elizabeth Bonifay Eubank, age 87 passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012.  A viewing will be held at St. Sylvester's Catholic Church in Navarre, Florida at 6:00 PM on Thursday. June 14, 2012. Mass and funeral service will also be held at St. Sylvester's Friday June 15 at 10:00 AM., and proceed to Rose Lawn Cemetery on Hwy. 98 in Gulf Breeze. 

She is survived by her loving husband, of 61 years, Guy C. Eubank, Jr., and affectionately known as “Mom” by her four sons and their wives, Randall D. Eubank(DeLeene), Guy C. Eubank III(Debbie), Thomas G. Eubank(Becky), Joseph E. Eubank(Angie). She is known as “Nana” by 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grand children, and “Aunt Cacky” by a multitude of nieces, nephews, and “Cacky” by cousins and a lifetime of friends.

Catherine(AKA Katy Liz by her “Carolton”), was raised in East Pensacola Heights, attended Catholic High School until after 9th grade when she contributed to the war effort by postponing her education to help the family business, Bonifay Oil Company, while her brothers went off to war in W.W.II. She also worked for Southern Bell as an operator before she found her true lifelong vocation as wife, mother, and homemaker. She will truly be missed by all. She was the last of the seven children of Eugene and Inez Bonifay.
