Gulf Breeze focuses funds on Daniel Drive

Improving Daniel Drive remains the focus of Gulf Breeze’s Community Redevelopment Agency. The city council, acting as the CRA Board of Directors, on Monday approved the agency’s 2009 budget.

The $802,252 plan commits $200,000 for road and drainage improvements to Daniel Drive between Joachim Drive and Andrew Jackson Trail.

The presence of Gulf Breeze High School’s Dolphin Stadium west of Daniel Drive, the opening of Sea Shell Collections and the Andrews Institute to the east and the activation of a traffic light at the intersection of Daniel Drive and U.S. Highway 98 have increased use on the road.
