A little bit of patriotism can go a long way.
Starting at Navarre Park, stretching east and west in the median of U.S. Highway 98, a line of American flags, billowing in the wind, greet drivers six times a year.
Standing tall at 8 feet, all 101 flags serve as a reminder to Navarre residents that “we will never forget.”
The flags are part of the American Flag project, started in 2005 by Lauretta and Skip Aiken.
