Four candidates seek water board seats

Four candidates have thrown their names in the hat to fill three available seats on the Holley-Navarre Water System board of directors.

Ken Walker, general manager of the water system, said the board will hold the election at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 during its regular board meeting. All members/customers of the water system are eligible to vote for the candidates on Jan. 17 by stopping by the water system office on Turkey Bluff Road during business hours or at the 7 p.m. meeting.

Walker said a notice went out to all customers informing them of the election. The votes will be counted and results will be read during the meeting.

The candidates are Jim White, Troy Bossier, Shelton Hutchins and Joe Pecjak.
