TDC, Chamber discuss contract renewal

Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council discussed the renewal of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce's lease for office space in the visitor information center.

Chamber President/CEO Bill Arnett attended the TDC's south end committee meeting Dec. 14 to go over new provisions in the lease. He said the lease was up Feb. 28 and the board of county commissioners planned to vote on the renewal in January.

Commissioners were scheduled to renew the Chamber's lease during a Dec. 8 meeting. However, they decided to table the renewal after TDC board member Ira Mae Bruce asked that commissioners give the TDC a chance to review it first.
