Holley-Navarre Fire District is expecting a huge crowd for its second Haunted Fire House event this weekend.
HNFD Firefighter Eric Shoultz said last year the fire house had an hour and 15 minute wait on Friday and Saturday.
“This year we’re hoping to be bigger and better,” he said.
The Haunted Fire House will be open from 7-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Station 45 located at 8618 Esplanade St. in Navarre. While Shoultz said the event was for all ages, parents should accompany small children.
“We’re kid friendly but at the same time parents should be with their kids because we are going to scare people,” he said.
The haunted fire house theme this year is a biological chemical outbreak. The event is sponsored by the Professional Firefighters Association Local #4695.
