The annual chili cookoff at Juana’s Pagodas last Sunday brought in a record amount of money for Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County.

“This year’s results are beyond my dreams,” said Diane Mancuso, who organized the event.  “It was only a couple of years ago that we raised $800 for Caring and Sharing. Last year, the total came to $1,655. I did not think we could top that.”  

However, with the addition of a volleyball tournament to this year’s festivities, Mancuso said the total raised will be close to $2,600.
