Beaches to Woodlands Tour excites again this fall

The eighth Annual Beaches to Woodlands Tour of Santa Rosa County will once again showcase the area’s diversity with more than three dozen family-friendly events staged weekends in late September and throughout five weekends in October.

The tour is presented by the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council. Events stretch from the far northern edge of Santa Rosa County in Jay, Fla., to the Blackwater River State Forest, Historic Downtown Milton, Pace, Gulf Breeze, Navarre and Navarre Beach.

“The Beaches to Woodlands Tour has now become synonymous with Fall along the Gulf Coast,” said tour coordinator Karen Harrell. “There is no better time to get outdoors and take a mini-vacation or a day trip than October. This year’s schedule offers something for just about everyone and the best part is most events are free or low-cost, family-friendly and are tied to a charity.”
