Buck Lee announces bid for Supervisor of Elections

W. A. “Buck” Lee, a former Santa Rosa County commissioner, announced his run for the Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections position in 2012.

Lee made a formal announcement in Milton Aug. 5.

“As you all know (Anne Bodenstein) is not seeking a third term and that’s open the door to something that I’ve been interested in for a very long time,” Lee told the gathered media.

Lee previously served on both canvassing boards in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

He is currently the executive director at the Santa Rosa Island Authority, a position he’s held since 2005.
